Note di degustazione
Pure, subtle and soft-spoken, with aromas of minerals, spiced lemons and touches of roasted pineapple and seashells, which get more lifted on the palate. Medium-to full-bodied with good substance. Dry, tense and harmonious. Drink now or hold.

A slice of vines in the mid-south part of this large vineyard that are planted east–west, so there are different geologies within it. Average vine age 50 years. 17 months in 15% new oak. Quite an intense, ripe nose with a smoky perfume. Real richness on the palate makes it approachable already. There’s even a little sweetness on the end. Very forward and exuberant. Quite long. (JR)
17% new oak. From a set of vines straddling the slope from top to bottom. Tank sample. Lemon. Immediate whip of citrus, but this gives way to fresh apple, pear and white peach. A breath of vanilla and spice. Medium-bodied and good length. Puligny minerality on the long finish. Not overripe, nor over-lean. (MH)
