2020 Volnay 1er Cru L'Exception

The 2020 Volnay Village, which contains some Premier Cru from Les Lurets, has a well-defined, rather straightlaced bouquet with finely-tuned red fruit that maybe do not quite possess the complexity of the Pommard Village. The palate is medium-bodied with a grippy, Pommard-like entry. Good structured and quite reserved compared to its peers, this will benefit from 3-4 years in bottle.
