Note di degustazione
Bright, pale yellow. Subtle, complex aromas of apple, pear, lime, ginger and crushed stone. Lovely intensity to its pear and mineral flavors. Savory and ripe but dry and very intense, showing a sexy dusty stone texture and noteworthy sappiness. This has gained in length since I tasted it last year from barrel. Finishes salty, chewy and long. Nice energy here.

(Morey has two parcels of equal size, one planted in 2002 and the other in 1974; 11.9% potential alcohol chaptalized to 13.2%): Bright, pale yellow with a green tinge. Aromas of grapefruit skin, quinine, spearmint and anise reminded me a bit of Sauvignon Blanc. Then juicy and fairly dense in the mouth, showing a supple texture as well as good energy to the vivacious flavors of lime blossom and flowers complicated by salty minerality. Not hugely long but already conveys a lot of personality.
