Cask sample. A powerful expression of Bienvenues which has a line of acidity and mineral character to keep the palate in check. Very fleshy stone fruit. Freshness is a great counterpoint to the concentration of the grand cru. Oak very subtle and in the background. Will keep for many years. (AWH)
