The 2019 Barolo Serra is bright and sculpted in feel. Brisk acids and veins of tannin give the 2019 gorgeous translucent energy. Orange peel, crushed rocks, mint and cinnamon all grace this vibrant, linear Barolo from Davide Rosso. Give this a year or two in bottle.

The 2019 Barolo Serra has a bit more concentration in its color and offers notes of kirsch, sweet licorice, and dark mineral earth. Full-bodied, with ample rounded fruit and building structure, it is flush with raspberry coulis and flowers. Drink 2025-2045.
Intense raspberry fruit with minerally stony notes on the nose that become more perfumed with aeration. Fantastic, tactile, polished tannins with lashes of supple, pure raspberry fruit. Intense, long finish. (WS)
