The 2006 Barolo Bussia Soprana Vigna Mondoca, like the Brunate in this vintage, is mystifying. It is simply impossible to find any pleasure in this monolithic, monstrously tannic Barolo. Anticipated maturity: 2016-2026. If Oddero could only find consistency, this range would be significantly more impressive.
