Note di degustazione
Exhibiting scents of peach, white currant, pear and toasted almonds, the 2018 Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru La Grande Montagne is medium to full-bodied, satiny and enveloping, with an expressive core of fruit and juicy balancing acids. From a parcel planted in 1991, these are the domaine's youngest premier cru vines.

The 2018 Chassagne-Montrachet La Grande Montagne 1er Cru comes from a very dry terroir. It has a tightly wound, focused bouquet with the intensity of the Morgeots. The palate is very well balanced and displays fine salinity on the entry. There is good acidity here, although the finish attenuates a little too quickly. If this can manifest a little more persistence and grip, it will warrant a higher score.
