Note di degustazione
The 2015 Pommard 1er Cru Les Cras is one-third whole cluster with 15% new oak this year. It has a perfumed, floral, rose petal-scented bouquet that just needs a little more mineralité to shine through. The palate is medium-bodied with firm, slightly chewy tannin. This is well structured with good grip and it should develop more flesh on the finish by the time of bottling.

Two-thirds whole bunch, 10% new oak. On soils with a bit more iron deposit. Real sinews here. Great structure. Very firm and well constituted. (JR)
(vinified with one-third whole clusters; aging in 15% new oak and not yet racked): Healthy bright red. Tart cherry and pomegranate aromas show a violet accent and a slightly medicinal licorice quality. A juicy, penetrating fruit bomb on the palate, conveying a rather cool aspect for the vintage. This intensely flavored wine is very Pommard in its early tightness, and its tannins are a touch dry. Sieve noted that these vines were hit hard by hail in 2013 and 2014 and frosted in 2016.
