Punteggio 89/100 · Da bere 2021-2037, William Kelley, Wine Advocate, Apr 2019

The 2017 Chassagne-Montrachet Village is quite closed after its recent bottling, unfurling with a youthfully reserved bouquet of citrus zest, yellow orchard fruit and spices. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied, with a delicately glossy attack, impressively racy acids and good tension at the core, concluding with a precise, mouthwatering finish. This should shine after a few years in the cellar.

(made from a combination of purchased must and wine): Pear and white flowers on the nose, complemented by a touch of leesy complexity. Fine-grained and rather generous if quite dry, with its flavors of pear, menthol and flowers showing more weight than the village Puligny. A more masculine style with a dry, persistent finish.
