Note di degustazione
The 2018 Barbaresco Bric Turot shines bright with a pretty ruby hue and an elegantly thin appearance. Compared to the Barbaresco Secondine, you get more complexity in the Bric Turot, and you also get a more structured and complete portrait of Nebbiolo from a vintage that started off with humidity and ended with heat. Wild berry, crushed mineral and even hints of violet or wildflower give life to the bouquet.

The 2018 Barbaresco Bric Turot is the most potent of the Prunotto Barbarescos I tasted. Spice, leather, cedar and tobacco lend striking aromatic presence. This deceptively mid-weight Barbaresco offers plenty of intensity. Readers should be prepared to cellar it for at least a few years. The Bric Turot is the sort of wine that constantly changes in the glass, which makes it elusive and yet captivating, in the way only Nebbiolo can be.
