Pale yellow. Tighter on the nose than the Petit Chablis, offering aromas of lemon, menthol and mint. More classic in the middle palate than the Petit Chablis, with penetrating lemon zest fruit and strong stony minerality giving the wine terrific verve. This very incisive village wine is not ready to drink.

The 2015 Chablis has a honeyed bouquet with flecks of white chocolate. As the aromas unfold there is a seam of lemon curd and a distant scent of chalk dust. The palate is well balanced with superb salinity considering the warmth of the growing season; vibrant and quite deep toward the poised finish. It seems to have lost some of its nascent spiciness from barrel, yet there is unquestionably impressive body and concentration, suggesting it will age with style.
Bright, pale yellow. More fruity and inviting on the nose than the Petit Chablis, dominated by lemon, lime and crushed stone aromas. Concentrated and pliant but with a firm citrussy edge (red grapefruit?) giving the finish a slight youthful harshness. This should make a terrific village wine.
