Note di degustazione
From two plots, one right outside of Moutonne and one near Grenouille, the 2019 Chablis Vaudésir Grand Cru has a succinct, beautifully defined bouquet of yellow plum, white peach, limestone and subtle chamomile aromas that blossom with aeration. The palate is well balanced, taut and fresh, with a fine line of acidity, and very saline toward the finish. Orange pith and white peach linger on the long aftertaste. Divine.

The 2019 Chablis Grand Cru Vaudésir is lovely, wafting from the glass with aromas of orange blossom, citrus zest and peaches mingled with honeycomb and white flowers. Full-bodied, satiny and enveloping, it's concentrated and layered, with a racy spine of acidity and a long, searingly intense finish. This is a benchmark rendition for this climat.
Domaine vines. Fermented in two demi-muids, neither of them new. Cask sample. The oak shows a little bit more here – more creamy. More creamy and spicy on the palate too with both citrus and stone fruit. Rich, deep and with a fine cutting-edge of citrus freshness on the finish. A long way to go. (JH)
