2020 Rosso di Montalcino

The 2020 Rosso di Montalcino tempts the senses with a perfumed mix of wild strawberries, plums, lavender and sage. The Sesti 2020 Rosso di Montalcino shows medium weight, more density and darkness of color compared to your standard Rosso. A lot of that richness has to do with the character of the vintage that posed no problem for fruit ripening and sugar concentration (resulting in a robust 14% alcohol). The wine is soft and plush, with cherry and blackberry as the protagonist.
