The Luigi Oddero 2010 Barolo shows simple lines and good depth. This is an approachable and immediate Nebbiolo that exhibits attractive tones of dried cherry, licorice, dried ginger, smoke and grilled herb. The classic lines of the vintage are evident via the wine's firm tannins and the balanced acidity that gives lift and momentum to the finish.

Sweet and quite pronounced and quite fruit driven on the nose, almost a little jammy. Marked difference between palate and nose. Palate is a little coarse and astringent. Good length though. (WS)
