2003 Volnay Santenots

Good bright, deep red. Superripe cherry, cassis, blackberry and chocolate nose shows good spicy lift. Initially dense but juicy and tight, this showed more breadth and generosity of texture as it opened in the glass. Finishes very ripe, with broad tannins that reach the front teeth.
