2018 Volnay Santenots

The 2018 Volnay Santenots 1er Cru comes from young vines (under 23 years of age) located in Clos des Santenots. This is completely de-stemmed. It has an attractive, pure bouquet of well-defined black cherry and light blueberry fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins and a fine bead of acidity, the 25% new oak neatly enmeshed toward the finish. This is an excellent Volnay.
