Note di degustazione
Musky aromas of fresh peach, ginger, curry powder, wet stone and mint. Densely packed and juicy; sweet but firm. Quite powerful and penetrating for this cuvee, with lovely clarity and grip. Finishes long, sweet and full but without the heaviness of the year. Broad but not at all sloppy on the back. This has turned out very well. (I did not visit the Ramonets this spring because they were not ready to show their 2004s; unfortunately, shipment of their 2003 grand crus to New York, originally scheduled for August, was delayed until September, too late to be included in this issue.) .

Lemon, lime, white flowers, honey and nuts on the nose. Dense and lively in the mouth, with flavors of lime and minerals. Less showy than the Caillerets but stronger on the back end, despite a bit of alcoholic warmth.
