Note di degustazione
Unwinding in the glass with scents of crisp green orchard fruit, nutmeg, Meyer lemon, wet stones and light reduction, the 2019 Meursault 1er Cru Les Perrières is medium to full-bodied, ample and incisive, taut and chiseled, with a racy spine of acidity and a pungently mineral finish.

The 2019 Meursault Les Perrières 1er Cru showed quite a heavy reduction on the nose that made it difficult to read. (Winemaker Brian Sieve explained that this has as much to do with the cellar in Meursault vis-à-vis Puligny as with winemaking decisions.) The palate is well balanced with a rounded entry, smooth and harmonious, offering tropical tones of apricot and nectarine. As with the Porusots, I would have liked more mineralité and tension on the finish, though there is satisfying length.
