Offering up aromas of citrus oil and clear honey, framed by a touch of light reduction that dissipates in the glass, the 2018 Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Clos de la Garenne is medium to full-bodied, fleshy and textural, with fine depth at the core, lively acids and a saline finish. Quite introverted after its recent bottling, this is another promising cuvée from this new estate.
