Note di degustazione
The 2018 Pauillac de Latour has an incredible deep sanguine colour with a lovely nose of both savoury, bloody, earthy tones, a light floral lift of violets and dark spice aromas from some quality oak. This really opens up with a bit of air with lovely juicy cassis and cherry fruit along with sweeter milk chocolate tones. The velvety tannins are typically Latour-esque with the a touch of austerity and bitterness bringing lovely structure to this medium-bodied, classically styled claret.

Dark, deep, rich, earthy, chocolatey, tobacco-stained black currants that caress your palate with a serious depth of flavor, density, richness, and density. This has just entered the start of its drinking window.
I'm always shocked at the quality of the base Pauillac from this château, but I guess at this point I shouldn't be, given that it's outstanding in just about every vintage. The 2018 Le Pauillac De Château Latour has a medium to full-bodied, ripe, rounded, even sexy style as well as sunny aromatics of red and black fruits, smoked tobacco, and lead pencil shavings. It's balanced, concentrated, and incredibly satisfying.
A fleshy, generous rendition of this bottling, the 2018 Le Pauillac de Château Latour offers up aromas of rich berries, cherries and loamy soil, followed by a medium to full-bodied, layered palate with a sweet core of fruit and powdery structuring tannins.
