2018 Batard Montrachet

A softly exotic and attractively spicy nose offers up notes of tangerine peel, jasmine tea, pear and a hint of oak. The rich and full-bodied flavors possess reasonable mid-palate concentration as well as fine length on the overtly saline-inflected, delineated and well-balanced finale. This is not as dense as it usually is (though it's certainly not dilute) but it should have no trouble amply rewarding extended cellaring.
