The 2019 Chassagne-Montrachet Morgeots 1er Cru was much more backward and primal compared to the Chenevottes and Vergers and did not quite possess the same "sparkle". The palate is well balanced with good weight, tropical tones of pineapple and passion fruit define the finish, a touch of spice lingers on the aftertaste. Fine, but not the best Chassagne from the domaine this year.
