Derived from a late-ripening site that touches Vaulorent, Piuze's 2020 Chablis Terroir Découverte exhibits aromas of orange oil, pear, white flowers and freshly baked bread. Medium to full-bodied, bright and layered, with lively acids and a penetrating, saline finish, it's a fine effort.

The 2020 Chablis "Terroir Descouvertes" has a clean, crisp nose of Granny Smith apples intermixed with light earthy tones. The palate is well balanced with quite a powerful entry and just a little creaminess, but it needs a little more bite on the finish.
