2017 Barolo

All of these wines from Gianni Gagliardo are packaged in heavy glass bottles. In this case, 23,346 of them. The 2017 Barolo opens to medium consistency and dark ruby hues and conjures up dried cherry, tar, smoke and licorice. This is a buttoned-up Barolo with freshness and soft spice. All in all, it's a nice, classic expression of the vintage.
