Note di degustazione
The 2019 Puligny-Montrachet Les Pucelles 1er Cru has a very perfumed and exotic bouquet of wild peaches, melon, honeysuckle and dried honey scents. This is a little overpowering. The palate is ripe and slightly confit -like on the entry, displaying concentrated and honeyed fruit laced with stem ginger and white pepper, but it needs more freshness and tension on the finish. Tasted blind at the Burgfest tasting.

The 2019 Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Pucelles exhibits aromas of orange oil, toasted nuts, pear and white flowers, framed by a deft touch of new oak. Medium to full-bodied, satiny and enveloping, with an ample core of fruit and bright girdling acids, it concludes with a precise, mouthwatering finish.
