Note di degustazione
(Don't Miss!)<br /> A pretty and equally fresh if distinctly ripe nose reflects notes of various white orchard fruit aromas that are also vaguely exotic along with lemon zest, jasmine tea and spice wisps. There is outstanding volume to the exceptionally rich yet refined broad-shouldered flavors that possess focused power on the extraordinarily long and sappy finish. This impressive effort is borderline tannic and will definitely need extended cellaring to reveal its full potential.

The 2018 Montrachet Grand Cru is matured in 60% new oak. It has a finely tuned bouquet with scents of granite filtering through the green apple and pear aromas, and just a little linseed oil in the background. The well-balanced palate displays a fine bead of acidity, good tension from start to finish and a crescendo of concentration that leaves you feeling that you are in the presence of a famous (the most famous?) vineyard. This is a very worthy "Monty" with great potential.
