Note di degustazione
Another highlight of this year's collection is the 2018 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Sentiers, an attractive wine the opens up with notes of cherries, red berries, candied peel and smoked meats. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, with a deep, textural core of succulent fruit, supple and beautifully refined tannins and a long, expansive finish.

75% whole bunch and 40% new oak. Barrel sample. Pale to mid cherry. Subtle raspberry fruit, red but not sweet. Opens up (samples are cold) to a floral sweetness like roses. Fragrant as it warms up. More grain in the tannins here but still very fine, like grainy paper. Dry and refined texture. Fresh, lithe, embryonic. Long, dry, almost chalky finish. (JH)
