Correct, light nose. Fresh and ferny-scented. Mid weight and good balance and appetising appeal. Not sure it’s a true Charmes but it’s certainly a dense Meursault. Lots to chew on and nothing wrong with this. A good mouthful. Cool and dense and dry. Appetising and with a very serious undertow. Utterly correct and with layers. Good stuff. (JR)
