Good deep cherry red. Subdued but perfumed aromas of red fruits and flowers. The thickest, sweetest and freshest '95 to this point, but quite youthfully undeveloped. Lively acids and firm tannins give this wine excellent structure for aging. Closed up like a clam in the glass. From a southeast facing vineyard that does not get the hotter late afternoon sun.
