Note di degustazione
The 2017 Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Combettes is showing nicely, offering up aromas of crisp green orchard fruit, citrus oil, white flowers and toasted nuts, along with attractive reductive top notes. Medium- to full-bodied, satiny and seamless, with excellent cut and chalky structure, this is a bright, youthful Combettes that's just approaching the beginning of its drinking window.

Single parcel. Barrel sample. Tangy, lightly oaked and intense citrus aroma, just a touch of oak spice. Tight, fine-boned and the most elegant of the Girardin wines tasted so far. Tight and long on the finish. (JH)
Bright medium yellow. Discreet, highly complex scents of citrus and stone fruits, musky minerals, hazelnut and flowers. A very pure, aromatic expression of soil, offering terrific mineral/citrus grip and a subtle saline quality. This dense but lively wine features a tactile, dusty, subtly mounting finish and captivating lime blossom lift.
