The top part of the vineyard is mass-selection vines, planted in 1960, and the bottom part is clones 76 and 95, planted in 1999. Yields 57 hl/ha. Fermentation of one and a half months with half quantity of dried yeast, aged for 11 months. Bottled 13 August 2018. Excellent on the palate, and great length but there’s something on the nose that’s non-standard? A little riper than Caillerets of old and lovely length. Climate-change effect? (JR)

Much more complexity that their village Puligny-Montrachet, showing slaty, seashell character as well as pure green-apple fruit. Persistent and crunchy in structure. (RH)
Bottled. Enticing and complex nose of bright citrus fruit and delicate but present oak, giving spice and a mealy richness. Less intense on the palate than I expected but a step up from the Clos St-Jean especially if you like a little more oak influence. (JH)
