Note di degustazione
Bright yellow. Pear, white flowers and powdered stone on the vibrant nose. A step up in tangy energy and precision from the Morgeot Vigne Blanche, offering distinctly rocky flavors of lemon zest and saline minerality complicated by medicinal herbs and fresh herbs. (This is from lighter soil than the Morgeot Vigne Blanche and it shows.) Finishes tactile, salty, long and a touch phenolic, spreading out to saturate the palate.

(Cournut made nearly 30 hectoliters per hectare as part of this vineyard was not frosted): Pale yellow. Reticent but complex nose melds scents of vineyard peach, fresh herbs and crushed rock. The plush, ripe palate offers a captivating combination of ripe fruit and minerality framed by lemony acidity. Finishes with excellent breadth and verve but no hardness. Really echoes on the aftertaste. Showing beautifully today.
