Note di degustazione
The 2016 Saint-Aubin En Remilly 1er Cru fulfils the promise it showed from cask. It offers compelling scents of citrus fruit, lanolin, Clementine and a touch of olive oil, all well-defined. The palate offers impressive fruit intensity with vivid acid drive and a mineral-rich finish. Damien Colin has produced a fantastic En Remilly with the substance to suggest long-term ageing. Tasted from a sample at home.

The 2016 Saint-Aubin 1er Cru En Remilly is showing very well from bottle, offering up notes of green orchard fruit, iodine, citrus oil and crushed chalk. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, tensile and concentrated, with bright acids, a deep core of crisp fruit and a chalky finish. It's an impeccable En Remilly from Damien Colin that I wouldn't hesitate to purchase for my own cellar.
The 2016 Saint-Aubin 1er Cru En Remilly had a very tight-lipped and laconic bouquet that did not want to give much away, just suggestions, fleeting ones, of cold granite and dried honey. The palate is well balanced with a tensile opening, great depth here with hints of marmalade infusing the citrus fruit and hints of blackcurrant on the spicy, quite feisty finish. Excellent. This is a sterling follow-up to the 2015 En Remilly. Dec 2017, www.robertparker.com
