Note di degustazione
Golden flecked in the glass with real shimmering intensity. Very addictive on the nose, almond, marzipan and nuts revealed as it unfurls in the glass. The weight is superb, depth and concentration without any sense of heaviness and a silky-smooth texture. Stone and tropical fruit come though balance by a trademark salinity that gives way to a long layered and outright delicious finish. An excellent village wine, great value.

Bright light yellow. Slightly meaty scents of mirabelle , menthol and noble herbs suggest a wide range of ripeness. Surprisingly juicy on the palate but less dense than the 2017 version, and a bit herbal as well. This youthfully medicinal village wine finishes with a faint bitter edge that calls for a year of patience.
Bottled. Lightly (and nicely) dusty/stony aroma, almost more Chablis than Puligny, though there is riper citrus here. Creamy texture but not particularly intense on the mid palate. Slightly salty/bitter finish adds freshness. (JH)
