(12.4% potential alcohol chaptalized to 13.2%): Bright yellow. Closed, slightly reduced aromas of yellow fruits and clove along with a suggestion of honeyed surmaturité . Very rich, ripe and dry, turning more citrussy as it opens in the glass. Surprising acidity gives tension to the wine's back half, with the dusty, slightly austere finish conveying a lightly tannic impression.
