2015 Meursault Charmes

Pale, bright yellow. Pungent aromas of crushed herbs, white pepper, menthol and citrus zest. Densely packed, tactile and tight, revealing a faintly nutty quality to its citrus, menthol and mineral flavors. Good salty extract here but not yet expressive. This will need at least a couple years in bottle to reveal its full personality. A bit aggressive on the finish, with the wine's fruit currently muted by alcohol, but has the energy and spiciness to reward some patience.
