Note di degustazione
Bright, light yellow. Crushed stone and menthol on the nose, plus a floral nuance. Concentrated and thick but with its subtle pineapple fruit enlivened by stony minerality and brisk lemony acidity. Very ripe but fresh and muscular. This wine will need at least a couple years in bottle to soften and develop more complexity. The yield here was around 45 hectoliters per hectare, as in 2016.

Flinty and sleek with ripe apple and apricot fruit, creamy and full on the palate with perhaps a little lack of acidic freshness on the finish. (RH)
Bright yellow. Reduced, fruit-driven aromas of pineapple and lemon convey an almost exotic ripeness. Fat, sweet and deep, lacking ultimate cut and energy but conveying an impression of richness. Still some sugar to lose here, and thus hard to assess today, but this wine should offer early sex appeal with adequate spine. Not a minerally style of Chalumeaux.
