Note di degustazione
The 2015 Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Folatières has a refined bouquet with subtle mineral tension, precise but not powerful, unfurling with each swirl of the glass. The palate is fresh and tensile on the entry, a keen line of acidity here with a strong saline note that lends it a lovely marine-like, almost Galician Albariño-inspired finish. Plenty of character here.

Bright light yellow. Aromas of lemon, lime and spicy oak. Smooth and perfumed on the palate, communicating a sexy touch of sweetness to the flavors of pineapple, white flowers and lichee. More finesse of texture here than in the previous premier crus. And more palate-staining on the suave back end. Very promising. For many years an important supplier of Folatières to Joseph Drouhin, Pernot vinifies Drouhin's portion in his own cellar, using barrels provided by Drouhin.
