Note di degustazione
Pale straw-yellow. Slightly musky aromas and flavors of pear, mint, menthol and spicy oak. Offers decent energy in the mouth but not quite the texture or ripeness I expect from a premier cru. The element of spicy oak carries through on the palate. A touch sour on the moderately persistent finish.

The 2013 Meursault 1er Cru Charmes has a pleasant, slightly gravelly bouquet that is well defined. The palate is clean and fresh with dried pineapple and grapefruit notes, a keen thread of acidity and a nicely poised finish. Yes, maybe on the conservative side, but this is nicely crafted.
‘We have 10 barriques – I’m so happy’, says Nicolas. Fine and fresh. Still very young and tight. (JR)
