Nose of honey, sweet blossoms, brown sugar and red apple skin. Tight and bright on the palate with finely tuned acidity and flavours of ripe red apples and honeycomb. Delicious.Dec 2015

Subdued nose hints at orange oil, peach and hazelnut. Rich, fat and tactile, with peach and mineral flavors joined by vanilla and spice oak tones (actually 65% new oak here). A bit blocked by CO2 today but this wine does not seem to be as complex as the last couple samples.
The 2014 Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru les Caillerets has a pretty, limestone-driven bouquet that opens in the glass, showing a little more nuance than the other 2013 premier cru Pulignys at this moment. The palate is very well balanced with finely tuned acidity. Henri Boillot compared it to a Chevalier-Montrachet on the finish, and I can see where he is coming from. Superb.
