Good full red. Cherry liqueur and licorice on the subdued but pure nose. Fat, full and sweet; plush and large-scaled but with lovely life in the mouth thanks to its cooler southeast exposure. Vacca describes this cru as "like a female version of Rabaja." Finishes long and ripely tannic.

It is medium to full-bodied Barbaresco made in a more fruit-driven style with alluring notes of macerated cherries and cough syrup.
