Punteggio 94/100 · Da bere 2024-2034, Neal Martin, Nov 2023

The 2013 Chassagne-Montrachet Les Caillerets 1er Cru has a delightful bouquet with orchard fruit, beeswax and honeysuckle aromas. It is very precise and focused. The palate is fabulous: it shows a killer line of acidity, taut and energetic, with a sense of frisson towards the finish. It dares to outclass the 2014 Grande Montagne! Tasted at Stannery Wines' producer tasting in London.

Punteggio 90/100 · Da bere 2016-2028, Neal Martin, Wine Advocate, Nov 2016

Tasted blind at the annual “Burgfest” tasting in Bouilland. The 2013 Chassagne Montrachet 1Er Cru les Caillerets has a sophisticated and tensile nose, shimmering citrus fruit, granite and smoke aromas, a little terse at first, it soon loses its aloofness and becomes very engaging. The palate is very well balanced with a silver bead of acidity that cuts through the lightly honeyed fruit. There is impressive focus here, likewise impressive length, completing this class act. It may warrant a higher score with further bottle age. Tasted May 2016.

Real intensity on the nose here. Lemon and correct. Still with some astringency. Not thrilling though. (JR)
