Barolo. Deep ruby with bright orange tinges. Very closed and spicy and only hinting at ripe fruit. Quite mellow and full on the palate and then rather tannic and dry. (WS)
Mid ruby with orange tinges. A big step up from the Barolo norm. Full, concentrated nose of cherry with a hint of baking spice and oatmeal notes from the oak. Lots of stuffing on the palate and well balanced with supple acidity and big stalky tannins that demand more time. Quite a full style for this vineyard. (WS)
