Dark red cherries, plums, licorice, tobacco and smoke flesh out in Damilano's 2010 Barolo Brunate. Here, too, the fruit is quite juicy and forward, which only adds to the wine's considerable near-term appeal. I don't expect the 2010 to be a long-term ager, but it is quite pretty today.

The Barolo offers a deep degree of dimension and purity with focused tones of wild berry, red cherry and balsam herb.
