Light clean nose and just a little brutal on the palate but with sufficient fruit for the tannins (unlike the Liste 2010). Firm and ambitious with some austerity for the moment but it should age well. (JR)

Floral and lifted at the outset, the 2010 Barolo Cannubi opens up nicely on the mid-palate and finish. Dark red cherries, mint, cinnamon, plums and sweet tobacco are some of the notes that linger in this expressive, nuanced Barolo.
