Note di degustazione
The 2010 Barolo Villero is shaped in a classic style with 36 month of aging in botte grande. In line with tradition, it presents a sharp and streamlined style with a feminine and elegant personality. Instead of muscle and brawn, it boasts length and persistency. Its appearance is thin and bright with luminous garnet hues. In the mouth, the wine is focused and pristine with supple, silky tannins. It promises to flesh out further with additional cellar aging.

The 2010 Barolo Villero is a pretty, soft wine that will drink well early. Red cherry pit, raspberry, crushed flowers, mint and sweet spices meld together in a mid-weight, understated Barolo that shows the more feminine side of the vintage.
Castiglione Falletto. Subdued and reluctant nose with only hints of ripe fruit. Very distinct and unusual. Hints of liquorice and firm, finely chiselled tannins. This will need serious time to open up. (WS)
