The Batard Montrachet sports a superb warm, enveloping spiciness on the nose with faint touches of citrus fruit. Super deep rolls of roasted fruits bathed in mulling spices can be found in this velvety-textured, full-bodied wine. The only thing that prevents the Batard from receiving even higher praise is a lack of balancing acidity.
