Pear, tangerine and honey on the rather exotic nose; I would almost have guessed that this had some noble rot. Rich but dry, with concentrated flavors of stone fruits and spices. Fresher than the Vergers but with an impression of high alcohol giving it a somewhat powerful, musclebound character today.

Cool nose, and not that much intensity. Slightly astringent finish. Not somehow trying as hard as some. (JR)
