The 2009 Barbaresco Bric Turot is rich, broad and expressive. Dark cherry, tobacco, underbrush, licorice, menthol and savory herbs notes all blossom in a large-scaled Barbaresco with tons of sheer appeal. The Nebbiolo tannins are present, but they are nearly buried by the depth of the fruit.

(aged in botti and some used barriques ): Medium amber-red. Complex aromas of dried flowers, tobacco, underbrush and mellow oak. Round, sweet and fleshy, with subtle oak spices complementing red berries and earth notes. Finishes long, suave and palate-coating, with fine tannins and resounding perfume.
