Note di degustazione
Rather oaky, slightly exotic aromas of nuts, dried herbs, fern and marzipan; I might have picked this as Puligny-Montrachet. Tight, closed and a bit youthfully hard-edged, perhaps a bit dried today by its combination of firm acidity and nutty oak. Finishes minerally and classically dry. This vineyard was hit hard by hail in July, noted Lardiere.

Nutty, spicy, friendly and very rich. Dry finish –almost like a clamp around the palate – was this hailed I wonder? Not the most comfortable and enveloping wine to taste. Fades a bit on the finish. (JR)

Louis Jadot is arguably the most consistent négociant house in Burgundy. It has managed to straddle both the entry-level and fine wine market, while retaining respect in both.
